EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS
No matter which course you work at, we expect you to represent Salt Lake City and the Golf Division in a responsible manner.

WORKDAY
Salt Lake City uses Workday for managing employee information and hiring. Starting in July of 2023, Workday will be our timekeeping and payroll provider. We will provide training and additional information as we approach the go-live-date.

POLICIES
All employees are required to abide by City and Golf Division policies. Familiarize yourself with the policies in the list below and talk to your supervisor if you have any questions or concerns.

Golf Policies
GOLF PRIVILEGES
Seasonal and hourly employees are eligible for golf and driving range privileges at all SLC Golf courses. Golf privileges are earned based on the number of hours worked in the previous pay period:

- From April 1 to September 30
- 20 hours or more – play allowed at any Salt Lake City golf course.
- 8 to 19.75 hours – play allowed ONLY at primary course of employment.
- Those who work less than 8 hours at their primary course of employment are not eligible and will be charged a designated employee rate.
- From October 1 to March 31
- 14 hours or more – play allowed at any Salt Lake City golf course.
- 5 to 13.75 hours – play allowed ONLY at primary course of employment.
- Those who work less than 5 hours at their primary course of employment are not eligible and will be charged a designated employee rate.
- From April 1 to September 30
